Your most important right is the right to get your own lawyer to represent you in this matter.
Insurance companies have A LOT of power and resources. You need a lawyer on your side. DO NOT talk to the insurance company without talking to a lawyer first.
I am an Austin AccidentAttorney and I fight with insurance companies daily, you should look for a local attorney to represent you. Give me a call: 512-478-8080 if you would like my assistance in finding a local lawyer.
Good Luck!
