Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

Filing myself to begin with

I need to file a suit before the statute of limitations runs out. I will use an attorney later but i need to file something short and sweet to get on the record. The bureaucrats will want the correct format, form etc. How do I do it/find correct structure? Thanks

I do not recommend your course of action. When filing a lawsuit, traditionally, multiple claims are filed and you are probably not aware of the full extent of all claims that you may be entitled to file. Nonetheless, if you are set in your ill-advised course of action, you can find all kinds of forms online (including lawguru.com). Alternatively, you can go to the court where you are going to file, get the clerk to pull a lawsuit on a similar case, make copies of the pleadings (they are public records) and go from there. However, for your own sake, hire an attorney.
