Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Filing suit in small claims court
I was in an accident. The other driver was driving a company vehicle and was at fault. The insurance company is not willing to pay blue book value on my vehicle. If I file a suit in small claims court do I file against the individual, the company he works for, or do I file against their insurance company?

Re: Filing suit in small claims court
you would file the suit against the driver and the company he worked for, not the insurer. keep in mind that small claims court will have a maximum jurisdictional limit over which you cannot recover. hope this helps. bill featherston
