Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

house insurance

my mortgage company pays for my insurance, they sent the insurance company payment for the year and i was told that i have insurance and the insurance has already cashed the check, now almost 8 months later i am finding out that the insurance has returned the check, even after cashing it, and morgage company is back tracking charging me there rate for insurance since they said(mortgage company) that i did not have insurance, is this legal? i was under the impression that once the check is cashed that would be considered payment , thank you

Re: house insurance

Sound like the mortgage company is in violation of their contract with you. I would like more information. If you want my assistance on this matter, contact me by email.

Re: house insurance

Probably not..we would be happy to look at the facts...send us a lot more info...the insurer and/or the mortgagor may be responsible..

But did you misrepresent anything? was this a renewal or a new company????where are you...etc..and how much money are we talking about?

Have you found anotherr insurer for your home?
