Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
I own a house in Texas, in which my ex-husband has a "life estate." While he is alive and lives in the home, he pays the taxes, homeowners insurance and maintenance. Do I have an insurable interest in him such that I can keep the life insurance policy I had on him during our marriage of many years?
