Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Insurance Agent
I'm a licensed Life, Accident, and Health insurace agent in Texas and I was given a ticket for soliciting w/o a permit in a town in North Texas. There are State laws saying that no one but the state is allowed to tax a licensed agent to do their job except the state of Texas. Am I exempt from getting a permit from a municipality?

Probably but it takes research..did you contest the ticket??hire a lawyer? This may be expensive but a suit against the municipality may be required..and people hate the ACLU...
