Insurance sent mortgage owner refuse to signi
Insurance company sent me check.I filed bankruptcy a year ago.I was in flood.Lost every thing.Motgagage holder refuse to sign check.Say he has to come on my property to make sure i,m doing repairs.And say i have to pay off bankruptcy first.Please help.

I am sorry to hear about your flood problem; you have painted the situation in some very broad strokes. Much would depend if your bankruptcy is still pending and whether the proceeds from the insurance claim would be considered property of the bankruptcy estate. Also, the terms and conditions of your homeowner's policy would need to be reviewed as well.
