Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Insurance/Drivers License Question - TX
Is it valid for a person to obtain auto insurance without a drivers license? My vehicle was recently hit (while parked) and his insurance company (which happened to be the same as mine) will not fix my vehicle, has cancelled my policy and I have found out that this person has no valid DL but somehow that is legal for him to still have insurance (according to them)???

Report it to the Texas Department of Insurance...or go to Justice of Peace Court..for damages up to $10,000...and they can't cancel a policy during period except for nonpayment or misrepresentation
