Re: life insurance policy recovery
Request a claim form from the insurance company and submit the death certificate. If you have trouble doing this and want my help contact me by email.
Re: life insurance policy recovery
If you are the beneficiary, then all you have to do is contact the claims administrator of the policy (the insurance agent, or the benefits administrator should be able to provide you with this.) You will need a death certificate. If there was no beneficiary, and the policy doesn't have a default provision, then you may have to file for probate. In that case, I would have to get more facts before telling you how to proceed. Let me know if you need anything else.
