Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
My question is: I was involved in a car accident last year in January. I was told by State Farm that they would not pay any kind of settlement because I had to use my own (primary) insurance first before they could offer paying any of my and daughters medical bills. Can you advise me on what to do. I don't think that is right that I have to file a claim with my insurance company knowing that the driver had his own insurance coverage when I and my daughters were passengers in his vehicle.
Thank you,

Commone misunderstanding..insurance companies do not HAVE to pay anything until you have a Court ORDER after a lawsuit..and even then with a lawyer competent to make them pay
