Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
rear end law
my boyfriend was driving my car with me in the passenger seat when he rear ended another car, my insurance said they can and will cover the repairs but also advise me that his insurance can and should do the same. My boyfriend is trying to tell me his will not becuase hes not insured on my policy but that makes no sense. he is liable and i want him to pay for it. what does the state say?

"friends" one buys insurance to pay for one's negligence..Insurance companies have well paid lawyers and do not pay what they do not owe. Let the insurance company take care of its interest. Why should you try to protect theM?
