Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
I was rear-ended by a driver and their insurance company has totalled my vehicle. I like my old vehicle and would like to keep it without them totalling it out and offering a 'buy back' to me where it would have a salvaged title. What options do I have? Can I ask the insurance company to help with the repair cost of me having the vehicle repaired on my own? Will this keep my vehicle from requiring a salvaged title? (State of Texas)
