son injuried in auto wreck

My son is 16 at the time of the wreck he was 14, I will have to go back and the records to find the exact date, he was riding in the front of a pickup, with two other people, they hit a dead end and my son was hurt, the auto did not have a seat belt in the middle for him, the other two boys had seat belts who is at fault

You should make a claim against the auto insurance policy of the driver/owner of the truck. Based on the brief facts you provided, the driver should have some liability in causing the incident. Let the other side argue your son is liable for his own injuries because he rode without a seatbelt. But that is a fact issue, which should take into consideration your son's age.

All automobile injury claims in Texas are based upon "negligence." That is, if the driver of the vehicle in which your son was a passenger was negligent, your son my be able to recover for his injuries, and you may be able to recover for medical bills paid on his behalf.
