Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
being sued
my brother is being sued about a truck that supposedly was in New York. Someone somehow got a license plate number off one of his work trailers. My brother nor any of his equipment has ever been in New York. An insurance company is suing my brother's insurance company for $5 million saying the trailor was in a wreck. My brother has provided everything to show that he has never been to NY. Now, the ones suing are saying he must fly to NY to give a deposition. My brothe is deathly afraid of heights, has never flown and this entire suit is making him a nervous wreck. What recouse does he have?
