Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

Suing for payment of Short Term Disability

Even after having 2 different specialists filing on my behalf, my insurance company denied my Short Term Disability claim and appeal. I do not believe that they should have the right to refute 2 seperate specialists that have performed physical exams upon me, while they sit in an office reading paperwork. I'm eager to force them to pay what I believe I'm owed, but I fear the repercussions upon my employment future. Any suggestions?

Re: Suing for payment of Short Term Disability

Most lawyers do not SUE immediately, our firm requires gathereing of all facts, then informing insurer as required by law, and only sue if necessary and client agrees. Employrs could be at risk for discrimination or retaliation if adverse action is taken because you seek your rights. Call us or some competent plaintiff's firm for help.
