Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas

Do I understand correctly that the the statute of limitations for suing an insurance company for non-payment of a life ins. policy in Texas is 4 years? - & the clock starts ticking from the issue date of their last denial letter? - is it longer if fraud is involved on their part? - do we have to give them 60 days notice prior to filing? - & is there a scenario under which you can receive an extension on the statue for filing - say an extra 75 days or so?? - any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated - Thanks, E.H.

Four years for breach of contract but only two years for deceptive acts which maximizes recovery...and don't rely on discovering fraud as extending time as Tex Supreme Court disfavors such....but if u have a claim, contact a lawyeer NOW..
