Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
vehicle hit by neighbor while backing out
Our vehicle was hit causing over $700 in damages. The neighbor acknowledged this and said he would take care of the damages. Since then we have heard numerous excuses as to why he can't pay. Months have gone by and we would like our vehicle fixed. What do we do? We have full coverage and he said that he did also, but now we don't know. He has told us that he has some money coming to pay for it, but we have not seen any of it. Do we need to take this to small claim courts?

Re: vehicle hit by neighbor while backing out
File this on your own insurance and get the neighbor to pay the deductible. If the neighbor won't pay, you can always take it to small claims.
