Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
If I have a wreck and have no insurance am I responsible for the other parties deductible as well as the damages

If you're at fault, yes. You'll also get a ticket. If you fail to pay for the damages, the other side can seek to revoke your license until you pay up. The laws are stacked heavily against the uninsured, and there are plenty of places where you can purchase inexpensive insurance.
