Legal Question in Insurance Law in Texas
Last year, a lady hit my car. I asked my agent about the PIP INSURANCE and found out his office has taken my PIP that I pay for monthly and not hers! Since he works on contingency, does the money belong to me or to him?

The insurance carrier should never pay the insurance agent your PIP. The check should be payable to YOU, only. Get a copy of the check. Secondly, the woman who hit you does not have a PIP claim against you. Your policy will not pay her under your PIP. Third, your insurance agent does not work on a contingency.
