Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

Assignee transfer after bankrupcy

I worked for a start-up biotech firm, for which I developed several

inventions. My work agreement stipulated that I would agree to

assign my inventions to the company for zero compensation. Iwas

laid off and the company went bankrupt before any assignations

were signed or patents filed. The intellectual property is said to

have been acquired by a limited partnership of former company

investors. Am I still required to assign my inventions to the LP,

even though I have never had a contractual relation with them?
