Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas
I was awarded a patent prior to beginning work for my present employer, a major corporation. I work in my patent area of expertise. I did not sign anything which would reduce rights to my patent.
Do I need to be concerned about loosing my patent rights to my employer?

As a Franchise Attorney I recommend you show any document you signed with your employer (employment agreement, NDA, etc.) to an IP attorney for review. You may have signed something that has fine print language that may apply to your existing patent rights. Consult with a good IP or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
