civil lawsuit
I have a friend that used the spelling of my first name in one of her short stories, which is a rare spelling. Can I sue her for this?

Sure. You'll lose the lawsuit and the friendship, but all it takes is a filing fee.

Only the first name is not enough to win a lawsuit for defamation unless there are other corroborating facts. Feel free to contact me for more.
