Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas
I saw a crocheted dress in a magazine, but didn't purchase the magazine or use the copyrighted pattern that was in the magazine, but I used the basic concept to create a similar end product, using a pattern of my own creation. The first dress I made as a gift, but I am considering making more and selling them. Am I allowed to do this?
