Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

I need information about patenting an idea of a shirt i have. I have looked this up alittle before and i am using the outline of states of my shirts, so i cant patent the geographical location but i was wondering if i could patent the idea to put it on the shirt top right chest and put maybe a university logo on the arm or neck of the shirt.

You need professional help.

You are contemplating deliberate trademark infringement (University Logos) and talking about "patents" when you should be thinking of copyrights and trademarks and perhaps, but probably not, a design patent. Call and let's talk. I am a Texas attorney and went to the law school at the University you probably intend to infringe. Be careful lest you get hooked by the Hook Em or Gig Em trademark enforcers.
