Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas
I want to use music from 2 commercial CD's that I have in conjunction with some visual images and videos that I took, like one often sees on YouTube. The CD's are from Madonna and from the Broadway Original Cast recording of Annie and the presentation is a one-time only showing via projector to a corporate group. What, if any, permissions would I need to get? Can anyone ballpark the cost? And since this is a one-time only event, is there really much risk if I don't get permission?

You cannot use others' copyrighted material for commercial purposes without obtaining the proper permission and/or license. No one who is not your attorney should speculate on the risk in your particular situation.
