rightful heirship
A mother and son buy a piece of property together. They split the cost 50-50. Each one pays the split sum in full with cash. Son dies no will. Son has two sisters. What legal right to they have, if any, to that property.

Assuming that son has no children or spouse, and that mother is still alive, mother gets son's share. Sisters get nothing, since mother is the son's heir.
