Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

I would like to sync songs to some of my pictures. Any legal problems with music industry?

If your pictures are in any way commercial or you are in any way trying to make money by doing this, you "would like to" infringe. There are ways to do this legally at minimal cost.

If it is just some minimal personal photos on just your personal site or facebook page, I doubt you are going to draw fire from any label for it unless it goes "viral". If by "pictures" you mean video or movies, prepare to get you clock cleaned as they watch that stuff closely and often act aggressively. Bottom line, if you are costing them money, they will likely be costing you money.

s a Franchise Attorney I can say the other attorney is right on point. It depends on the pictures (are they personal or someone else's copyrighted photos). It also depends on the songs. If the songs are copyrighted, you technically need permission. If the use is entirely private, you will not likely be pursued. Consult with a good intellectual property or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
