Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas
If a team plays a sport for an organization that has requested that you not use their logo in your advertising, and you just refer to that organization Without using the logo in a flier distributed amongst other members what rights does this team have?

You already suspect what the answer is going to be. If using their logo would be to associate you with the team, then how different is it to use their name, which is an even more direct reference to the team, to associate the team with your product? Come on.
