Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Texas

Usage of Sample Designs/Slogans, etc.

I want to use a variety of sample designs, brochures,

logos, slogans, etc, similar to

www.coolhomepages.com for educations purposes as

a very small part of an information filled subscription

site. The site will take it further and include an opinion if

this is a good piece or bad piece and a rating, almost

as a mini-review. This will be stated that these are the

property of the company and are to be viewed upon as

samples only. I just want to know if I am putting myself

in a legal problem. The images will be small probably

no later than 1- 1/2'' in width.

Each of us is entitled to have an opinion. So long as you disclose everything relevant so that the readers can see that they have choices and can make up their own minds, your work should not lead to any

legal problems for you.

Take a look at amazon.com, which sells books and other products. Readers rate the books. No problems. They, too, are entitled to their opinions.
