Legal Question in International Law in Texas

Very unique questions regaring Ibogaine Treatment for Addiction

I have a unique question regarding obtaining and using Ibogaine HCL for addiction treatment. I am a US Citizen living across the border from a mexcian boarder city. I fully understand that Ibogaine is currently a Schedule I substance in the USA. My question is: Are there any legal problems in ordering Ibogaine HCL from within Mexico and having it sent to an address in mexico and using it as a treatment for addiction and mental/emotional issues, IN MEXICO, being a US Citizen. I AM IN NO WAY asking about bringing it over and using it in the USA, I fully understand that it is totally Illegal. So are there any known problems/issues with ordering this ''medicine'' from within mexico(supply is overseas somewhere obtaining from a reliable website) using a mexican bank account and having it shipped to a mexican address and having the treatment done in mexico. Thank you for your time and any answers you can provide.

Thank You!

I don't normally practice criminal law. For this to be a crime in the US, it would have to be a crime to have used this drug. When the police arrest someone high on crack, I don't think they can be charged with a possession crime. It all depends on what specific crimes the feds or Texas has created. I'd have to research this.
