Legal Question in Investment Law in Texas
Breach of contract
I invested in a limited partnership in a real estate development. I was classified as a ''D'' partner. I was to be repaid in 90 days. I granted an additional 60 days.
I have yet to be paid and it's been 11 months now.
If I sue and win, which appears clear cut to me. And the LP says it has no money to pay me is it possible the court will grant me a lien on the 138 acre development so as to make good on my claim?

Re: Breach of contract
Yes, if you obtain a judgment in your favor, your remedies as a judgment creditor are usually bank levies, wage assignments and/or property liens, whenever the judgment debtor fails to voluntarily pay the award amount.
