Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Advanced Vacation Pay

I received advanced vacation pay in March and I resigned in May. My former employer witheld my last two paychecks to cover the vacation pay. I was informed of this action during my Exit Interview. I still haven't received my check stubs for my last two weeks of employment. Am I entitled to receive my check stubs?

Re: Advanced Vacation Pay

Yes, if the question was intended to address the last paycheck. The Texas Pay Day Act will require payment of the last paycheck unless a prior written agreement existed between the employer and employee to allow for with-holdings to be made from paychecks.
