Agency refusing to pay wages

I finished a contract job, and the staffing agency that I signed the contract with is refusing to pay me. I have contacted them several times with no response. I am a resident of Texas, the agency is in Florida, and the work I did was for a bank in California. In which state do I have to sue them, or does it matter?

if you did the work in Texas..go to JP court for claims less than 10,000...or see a lawyer
