Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I was assulted by an employee at work, I am wondering what grounds do I have on having him terminated or suing employer?

Why is the question..and normally employers do not tell one to assault others. but if injured, and missing work..needing medical care..you may get work comp. But if employer won't fire him, you can't make them..
