Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

contractors need paid

I am a contractor and signed a contract with a large company. I had to sub-contract some of the work out, after about 6 months the company pulled out of the contract and would not pay me the 65000.00 still owed for the work that had been completed. Now I have about 10 sub-contractors wanting paid and I am unable to pay at this time. I am worried as to what they may do and try to sue me. What can I do to protect myself, I was thinking about filing bankruptcy, is that a good idea? I have nothing else, I have lost just about everything. I live in Texas but the contractors live in Oklahoma. I need some options and ideas on what I should do.

Take all documents and visit a lawyer...who may collect ..but you know why the contract was not paid...any litigation lawyer would be happy to represent you and the subs should be good witnesses..
