Daycare nightmare

was told I was fired (over the phone) I had ''slapped a child''. she had a ''witness and the child''. I am innocent. Refused to listen to me, ignored my requests for polygraph, ignored my request for meeting with her and accuser. Told me ''im sick of your lies''. Devastated me. I kept asking for a chance to defend myself. To shut me up she said ''oh stop talking. I have video'' I was glad I said oh thank God lets view it. She sidestepped the issue. I told her its my right to see the proof. She said 'nah its mine. you cant see it''. Firmly believe there is no video and would never have me slapping a child if it were. I think this was said to make me ''hush'' so she could hang up or make me say something that was not true. I am innocent. This is heartbreaking to me. The kids loved me. I am innocnet. New employee vs one thats been there and obviously has a grudge. Feel I know whos doing this. This is completely unfair. She should let me prove my innocence before making such a false and mean accusation, and intimidate me. Just said you wont hush talking so I'm done, come by and get your check tomorrow and good luck. I told her god bless you, because you are wrong. Been a nurse for many years. I know protocol. This is all wrong and false.

Other than being accused, have you been damaged? ie, lost your job? if damaged, you have a case
