dead beat dad

i was taking care of this man for almost 2 1/2 years. he sign a letter state that he will buy me a house and a car of my choice, well found a house and a car that i liked it came to 350,000.00. now that he is better and have move on and we are not seeing eye to eye he have change his mind. bye the way we have a child together. this man was ran over by a train and will be coming into a great deal of money. do i have a case
