Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

In early March, I had turned in time sheets in order to be paid $200 per day for working on my days off during January and February.

But I was fired on March 14, 2011 and never received this pay.

They're telling me that because I was fired, the incentive pay for having worked on my days off do not apply.

Isn't this a breach of contract, since I was told that I would be paid for working on my days off and was never told until just now that termination voids this pay?
