Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
Can an employer garnish 100% of your wages to pay for back benefits they say I owe that they say were not paid while I was out on approved leave and getting paid short term disability payments while the benefits were being garnished from the STD checks off the top? They cannot give me a total amount that they say I owe and the amt changes everytime I call.

Call TWC..Texas Workforce Commission..which is also the unemployment benefits office...they may help without legal action
