Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
Can an employer layoff all but one employee at a particular site (location) and state the reason for the layoff is the entire site is closing? Would this be considered discrimination?

It depends why that one employee remains. Sometimes a site is closed but key employees or top performers are transferred to another site. The reason why the one employee was retained over all the others matters. Talk to an employment attorney in your area.
