Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
My former employer is suing me for 1 year back wages..didn't work a full year; a lost cell phone, a lost fire retardant suit, repairs and tires on my car I used for company work. He is asking for 85k plus damages. We had no contract. I had a company credit card to pay for car repairs, gas, etc. I quit and took another job. The interrogatory questions want my past 10 years paycheck stubs, w-2, driving records, who I work for now, my ss# ansd on and on. I am in the oil and gas industry.
