Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Employment law

I work for the avis budget group as a rapid return agent-checking in car rentals as they return to the airport. The workers on the avis side get two 15 minute breaks and a lunch and still get paid eight hours. The workers on the budget side are not allowed to leave the area and are not given a lunch. If we leave to go to the bathroom in an emergency, and the supervisor comes by we are questioned as to where we were and are made to feel as if we will lose our jobs . Also we do exactly the same work as avis employees but we are paid substantially less. Please help as there are employees whose lunch has spoiled repeatedly and others who have quit and others who have felt paranoid from fear of retailiation by false complaints and write-ups. Cendant is the parent company and cendant is avis/budget.

Re: Employment law

You need a union...employers are not required to treat all employees the same or equal..UNLESS employees have a contract..which is only obtained thru a union...Look on the internet on how to get one in your occupation..
