Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
being fired
Can a person be fired for not calling her place of employment on her day off to ask if she should come in? The schedule was changed without her knowledge.

unless an employee has a contract, the employer can fire for any reason but you may have a right to unemployment benefits..call the unemployment office at the texas workforce commission
