Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

I was fired from my position for going to an interview and for calling in sick. The HR insulted me by calling me a lier and that I had committed fraud, and still owe me back pay. what should I do.

call tx workforce commission, ie unemployment and ask them to get back pay..usually works..but first call employer..and write..they may pay
