Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

Fired at work.

i accidently broke a TV at my Work and i am being charged for it. when she fired me she gave me the bill. 485 dollars for a TV that had no special features or was even an HD Tv. and is now holding my last check until i pay it. is that legal?

Call the Texas Workforce Cosmmissioon..in my opinion it is NOT right..and if you have no luck with TWC file suit in JP Court..if you have no money, ask for a pauper's application and the Court could put the costs on the employer...
