Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
FMLA and short term disability
I'm going to be out a few weeks after some surgery and have requested short term disability, not FMLA leave. I was sent a Form WH-380 for FMLA. Can my employer require me to take FMLA instead of or concurrently with short term disability?

Probably, remember the employer can fire at will..no cause required..and the FMLA is for your benefit..not the employers
