Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas

forced to resign

I work for a small financial planning firm. The owner has yelled at me in the front over the others since the start of my job. His son would side with me. I was salaried and I bring in prospects. Since the market has gone down they say it's my fault and they put me on probation, lowered my salary by 10% and now the son is publically humilitating me. I was supposed to bring in 36 new clients this year worth over 500k. From 8/1/09 to present I have brought in 73 qualified prospects. They only opened 30 accounts. Yesterday the son started telling me how I ''dropped the ball'' I told him I didn't, I did what I was supposed to do. After the meeting I went into his office. He said I'm done with you. Do what you want you will anyway.

My child support is ending this month, I have had my house on the market and can't sell it and I'm in my mid 50's. I dread going to work but I need the money. Do I have any legal recourse?
