Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
'Is it right for a general manager at an employer to dictate when the employees can pick up the paychecks- here is my issue....I am a fitness instructor and have been told that I can only pick up my paycheck on the 10th and the 25th of the month b/t 8am -12pm or 4pm -7pm in which I am working at my other full time job from 8-5. I only teach at this health club on Wednesdays and that is the only time I am able to pick up my check and have been doing so. I am not sure exactly why they have made this rule.. I have not called the GM yet, but I was just wondering if employers actually take it that far as to the day and time of when an employee can pick up the check. I tried searching on the Texas Labor Law but my little brain can`t handle all the lingo....Thank you very much! kad'.

Give them a stack of envelopes addressed to you (with 44-cent stamps on them) and tell them to mail your paycheck to you.
