Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
My girlfriend is taking a job at a nonprofit organization were she is required to travel to mentally ill individual's houses to help them..... At orientation it was not made clear if the company will compensate and will definitely not protect the employee. If she is hurt by some mentally ill person could the company be held liable. For putting her in dangerous position?

Hopefully the company has work comp insurance and no fault is required. Otherwise, she has to prove fault and most lawyers will not take such a case as it is too expensive and recovery is highly doubtful
