Legal Question in Employment Law in Texas
Good evening. I currently work for a Fox news station in Texas, where I have been for 2 years. I have always felt a sense of discrimination, but do not know on what basis. My supervisor has now suddenly asked me to resign, complaining of my performance, when co-workers have always complimented my performance. Others starting work after me are taking on more responsiblities and being promoted sooner, with much less work experience, and poorer performance. Is my situation worth investigating on my part?

A sense of discrimination on what basis? From what you are telling me it sounds like they are discriminating against you because they don't like your work. It is possible that you are being discriminated against on the basis of a protected status but if you don't know on what basis you might be discriminated then it may just be the case of disliking your performance.
